If you’ve never been to Key West before, take it from someone who has been many times. This is a New resort located at the western tip of the island. Within easy walking distance from all the best bars and restaurants. This is where you want to stay.

Location x3! I was under the impression that Key West was a small island and it really is at 3 by 2 miles. Walking that every day is out of the question when you’re my age. I was looking for a nice place to stay like anyone else and there’s always a “hub” of any destination. Well the Marker is a bullseye if you’re looking for something higher end and easy walking distance to all the good stuff. If you check out the map, you’ll see the restaurants, bars and attractions are very concentrated on the west end. It really doesn’t matter what you’re there to do, its going to be close by. Other than lounging around a nice pool and of course a clean room; I really wanted to go snorkeling. I didn’t realize that Sebago was right there in the harbor next to the resort until I had made a reservation. That was a nice surprise and as great as everything is, getting out on the water via 60 foot catamaran and then catching the sunset is an experience I won’t forget. The reef is beautiful and staying at the Marker with a balcony overlooking the water is as good as it gets here. Highly recommended!
